Part-Time Instructor Therapist

Toronto IBI is currently looking for enthusiastic individuals to fill in Instructor Therapist positions in the Greater Toronto Area. Candidates must be willing to drive throughout the GTA to meet the needs of a diverse clientele.

Instructor Therapists will work one-on-one with young children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (or other developmental disabilities) in a home, school/daycare setting,or at our centre-based location while employing IBI / ABA teaching strategies as directed by a Senior Therapist.

Successful candidates must collaborate with other team members in the consistent implementation of a student's behavioural programs and procedures, maintain regular communication with parents as required and participate in scheduled team meetings and training conferences as required.

Successful candidates should possess:
  • A College Diploma or University Degree in a related field
  • Experience working with children with autism
  • Experience as an instructor therapist (IT) implementing ABA/IBI programming
  • Outstanding organizational, interpersonal and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other team members
  • A valid Ontario Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle or other reliable method of transportation

ABA/Autism related Diploma/Certificate is a definite asset.

Successful candidates are required to complete a criminal background check.
