Have you worked with children with special needs? Have you worked with children diagnosed with autism, PDD, PDD-NOS, or other developmental disability in some compacity? Are you an enthusiastic person who wants to make a difference in a child's life?

If the above describes you and you are looking to work with other enthusiastic individuals, you may be who we are looking for to join our team at Toronto IBI! With an ever increasing number of children needing help, there are many employment opportunities available.

Candidates Should Possess:

  • Enthusiasm working one-on-one and in small groups with children with exceptionalities!
  • A College Diploma or University Degree in a related field
  • Experience working with young children diagnosed with autism, PDD, or other developmental disorder
  • Experience implementing ABA teaching methodologies or previous experience as an instructor therapist
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other team members
  • Willingness to participate in on-going training programs

ABA / Autism related Diploma / Certificate is a definite asset.

Successful candidates are required to complete a vulnerable sector background check.

Ontario Autism Program (OAP) Qualified

Toronto IBI meets all the requirements put forth by the Ontario Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCSS) for the new Ontario Autism Program (OAP).

Our Clinical Director, Kingston Chui, M.A., BCBA, has been a certified Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) since 2010 and is a qualified Clinical Supervisor for families participating in the new OAP.

In addition, all the Directors of our three locations are BCBAs, so you can be confident in our quality of service!
