Services
Outreach therapy services are when ABA / IBI therapy takes place outside of a clinical, centralized, centre-based environment.
Due to the logistics of providing services in many different client locations, the waitlist for outreach therapy services will often be longer than for our centre-based programming services.
Unlike centre-based programming- where a parent drops their child off at a centralized school-like environment- outreach services are therapy services provided at a child's home, daycare or school. The most common outreach location is often in a child's home or daycare, while private schools are also an option.
The benefits and drawbacks of therapy in different environments differ depending on the needs of individual children and their current developmental goals. There is rarely a definitive answer regarding what the absolute best learning environment for each child is, but below are some of the benefits of therapy at home and schools/daycares.
At Toronto IBI, we understand the financial burdens of supporting a child on the spectrum. As such, a number of payment options for services are available.
We are committed to always provide the best available clinically appropriate services for your child. If our ability to provide quality and effective services for your child is in doubt or if our fitment with your child and/or family is not conducive or productive to your child's learning, we will not hesitate to recommend alternate service providers that can better meet your child's needs.

We recognize the difficulties of having a child diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and understand that families will advocate for what is best for their child. Often this will include the incorporation of different classes and activities aimed at broadening their child's development.
At Toronto IBI, we always encourage families to involve their child in as many new activities and classes as possible, as increased exposure to new experiences result in an increase in learning opportunities. Toronto IBI will be there every step of the way to help aid you and your child as you navigate through different extracurricular activities.
If you would like to come visit one of our three locations for a tour, please call us for an appointment and we will be more than happy to show you our facilities!
