Volunteer / Placement Opportunities

Toronto IBI Careers

At Toronto IBI, we welcome individuals who are interested in entering the field of autism treatment. Intensive Behavioural Intervention (IBI) and Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) are teaching "technologies" which are best understood when a practitioner is exposed to live teaching environments with children with exceptionalities.

With the ever-increasing diagnosis of children with autism and other developmental disabilities, the growth of the ABA / IBI field is promoted through accepting and educating individuals who are curious as to how they can help others, and those who may be interested in dedicating their lives to helping children with exceptionalities.

We receive many requests for volunteer and school placement opportunities throughout the year. Unfortunately space is limited, so we encourage interested individuals to apply several months in advance in order to secure an available volunteer spot.

Volunteers candidates are required to complete a vulnerable sector background check.

If you are interested in volunteering at Toronto IBI or completing your school placement at Toronto IBI, please submit a resume and cover letter explaining your interest and/or placement requirements to:

volunteers@torontoibi.ca

We thank all applicants for their interest, but only those chosen for an interview will be contacted.
